I am very lucky to have and eat chicken tenders, because chicken tenders are very tasty. Canes, Chick Fil A, KFC, and Popeyes have chicken tenders. My favorite kind of chicken tenders are the ones from Canes, because they are always warm and tasty. Chicken tenders come from chicken. Chicken tenders are usually sold at fast food restaurants, or you can make your own.

Escape From Stalingrad by Andy Marino

The book is about a boy named Artem, who lives in the capital city of Russia with his older brother during WWII. His older brother enlists in the military, and him and his older brother dig trenches, and fortify the city, so Nazi Germany doesn’t take it.

I really liked the book because of how many details there are in the book, and also because of the characters. I also liked how amazing the climax was, it was very dramatic and crazy.

My favorite character in the book is Vasily, Artems older brother.

My favorite quote in the book is, “We have men behind the frontlines with guns, ready to shoot anybody who retreats.” Pg 107. This is my favorite quote because it shows how desperate the Russian military were to hold and defend Stalingrad.

If I could have any job in the whole wide world, I would be a professional ice cream tester. My first reason why I chose this job, is because I get to eat free ice cream, and I get paid for it! My second reason why is because it’s probably the easiest job in the world. My last reason why I chose this job is because it requires little to no effort.

My deserted island would have a nice shade of green covering the trees and rainforest. And it would also have bugs and flies constantly picking and biting me. Life on my abandoned island is lonely and stressful. It would be like this because I would have to climb to trees to eat and drink from coconuts. And I would have to set up a shelter to protect me from the harsh weather. And from the animals/bugs. I would also have to worry about how much food I have and how to get it.

If I were invisible for twenty-four hours, I would be able to do a lot. The first thing I would do is, i’d rob Elon musk for 50 billion dollars, and make the Batmobile. Because if I have the Batmobile I’d be able to drive around and drive fast. I would also go to Derek’s house and take his Wii during the night. Because then he wont see the Wii floating during the day. The last thing I would do is steal and eat vanilla ice cream. Because vanilla ice cream is good.

Jim Thorpe

This month I read Jim Thorpe by Joseph Bruchac. I haven’t finished the book, I am on page 11.

The book is about a man named Jim Thorpe, a Native American that has played professional football and baseball in the MLB. He wins medals in track and field. As a young boy, he was sent to multiple Native American boarding schools.

I like the book because it has good details and a good story.

My favorite quote from the book is, “I felt sad about those “poor uncivilized” boys. “ This is my favorite quote from the book because it shows that Jim has sympathy for others and is thoughtful.

If I was shrek, i’d live in a shack covered in grass and mud. With a wooden door, and instead of glass windows, the windows would just be holes. I’d be a tall and big green ogre, with long thin ears, that look like a straw. My eyebrows would be bushy, and my teeth would be yellow and crooked. I would have a friend donkey named donkey.

“Happiness can be found even in the darkest times, when one only remembers to turn on the light.” – Dumbledore. The quote means that when something sad or tragic happens, there can still be happy moments. I relate to this quote because I once lost my pet cat. But then after a while, I found him. The mood went from sad to happy.

This year I’m going to focus on using my time better. Because I always procrastinate when I’m trying to do my work. I always have something important to do, like a chore, but I never do the work until the very very very last minute. And then later I have to do my work later when I’m having fun, doing nothing, or taking a nap. And when I do work really late, and then I don’t get a lot of sleep. Another reason why I’m going to use my time better is so that I don’t have a lot of missing assignments in any of my classes. And my final reason why I want to use my time better, is so that I stop being lazy.

The book I read for December was Breakaway by Alex Morgan, I haven’t finished the book yet, I am on page 36.

Breakaway is about a girl who starts soccer at 5. And as she gets older. She starts to join more advanced and professional clubs and leagues. And when she was old enough, she joined the women’s national soccer team. She also won many awards.

I liked the book because it had a good storyline and characters.

My favorite character of the book is Alex because she is determined. She is determined because her parents wanted her to play softball, but then she said she wanted to play soccer. She always found a way to play soccer which makes her determined.

My favorite quote from the book is, “It’s a torn ACL. It’s going to require surgery and then physical therapy.” This is my favorite quote from the book because it adds a lot of drama and suspense to the story.
