This week for my 20% project, I did passing. I tried to make a lob pass, but I couldn’t. Every time I kicked the ball, it kept staying low. I made multiple successful normal passes to Jaden. I also tried to curve my passes, I made Jaden run, and I was going to cross the ball to him. I also had to work on my first touch. A first touch is when you get the ball passed to you, and you set it on the ground. This week went good.

This week I did defending in Soccer. I was doing goalkeeping, and I was with Jaden Flores. I blocked most of his shots. I was struggling with trying to dive because my legs kept hitting the ground, and not my entire body. So then I couldn’t block the soccer ball if it was farther away from me. I also tried to curve a soccer ball, this is called a trivela. It is when you kick the ball with the outside or inside of your foot. And then, during when you’re kicking it, you curve your foot to make the ball curl.

My three favorite memories here at middle school, is when I took a nap in Math after the state testing was over. This is because when I was sleeping, I had a good dream. My second favorite memory I had at middle school is when I started and finished Olympics in PE. It was really fun because I would play sports, with and against my friends. My third favorite memory happened when I made my second pen in wood shop. The type of wood that I used to make the pen was canary.

My favorite room in my house is the bedroom. The room has 2 beds, one bed is a twin size bed. The other is a king size bed, the room also has a a big white drawer. It is my favorite room because I can sleep on my comfortable bed. Another reason why its my favorite is because it is where I can rest.

If I could have 3 people to eat dinner with, it would be Mr Clean, Lionel Messi, and Jesus Christ. My reason to invite Mr Clean for dinner, is because he would give me good cleaning supplies and clean my house. My reason for inviting Lionel Messi to eat dinner with me is because he is my favorite footballer, and I would like to get to know him better. And my reason for inviting Jesus Christ for dinner is because he could bless me and my house from any negative spirits.

I am very lucky to have and eat chicken tenders, because chicken tenders are very tasty. Canes, Chick Fil A, KFC, and Popeyes have chicken tenders. My favorite kind of chicken tenders are the ones from Canes, because they are always warm and tasty. Chicken tenders come from chicken. Chicken tenders are usually sold at fast food restaurants, or you can make your own.

Escape From Stalingrad by Andy Marino

The book is about a boy named Artem, who lives in the capital city of Russia with his older brother during WWII. His older brother enlists in the military, and him and his older brother dig trenches, and fortify the city, so Nazi Germany doesn’t take it.

I really liked the book because of how many details there are in the book, and also because of the characters. I also liked how amazing the climax was, it was very dramatic and crazy.

My favorite character in the book is Vasily, Artems older brother.

My favorite quote in the book is, “We have men behind the frontlines with guns, ready to shoot anybody who retreats.” Pg 107. This is my favorite quote because it shows how desperate the Russian military were to hold and defend Stalingrad.

If I could have any job in the whole wide world, I would be a professional ice cream tester. My first reason why I chose this job, is because I get to eat free ice cream, and I get paid for it! My second reason why is because it’s probably the easiest job in the world. My last reason why I chose this job is because it requires little to no effort.

My deserted island would have a nice shade of green covering the trees and rainforest. And it would also have bugs and flies constantly picking and biting me. Life on my abandoned island is lonely and stressful. It would be like this because I would have to climb to trees to eat and drink from coconuts. And I would have to set up a shelter to protect me from the harsh weather. And from the animals/bugs. I would also have to worry about how much food I have and how to get it.

If I were invisible for twenty-four hours, I would be able to do a lot. The first thing I would do is, i’d rob Elon musk for 50 billion dollars, and make the Batmobile. Because if I have the Batmobile I’d be able to drive around and drive fast. I would also go to Derek’s house and take his Wii during the night. Because then he wont see the Wii floating during the day. The last thing I would do is steal and eat vanilla ice cream. Because vanilla ice cream is good.
